Angie & I will be there Friday evening. We are going by way of Scottsboro to check a couple of ABEES points and then to Russell Cave up near Bridgeport and then over to Bryant to collect the extreme NE point and then to Sloppy Floyd.

See ya there, need to relate a face to your name.

          Regards,

Yep, too much time and too much curiosity. I even removed and dismantled the electronic speedometer to apply the calibration jumpers to the circuit board. I will let you know the results if it ever rolls again.

I don't really know what to say about German engineering except for the questions: (1) why engineer the air filter so that the fuel tank must be removed for service; (2) why put the fuel filter inside the gas tank, although I must say it is not that big a problem since it is already removed to service the air filter; (3) why put the oil filter inside the engine when it could have been mounted anywhere on the bike.

All this does is ensure a considerable cash flow in the service department at the dealership, if the work is done there.

However, with all that I still like the darned thing!

p.s. Shes a lot like me in the fact that she don't look so good "neckid".

John, Gary, Paul, Mike and I are going early Friday to take care of some business and put out the signs. We should be ready for lunch at Jim's Family Restaurant by noon, then we are going for a ride. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Jamie, if you cant get your bike ready in time, you are welcome to ride Traveler. I'm going on Odalisque. Only problem is that I do not have a hitch mounted. Some one else may can carry your stuff in a cage.

It will probably be after noon before we go to Jim's for lunch and hope you can join us. Looking forward to seeing you there.
