  • Shiloh Rally Report

How was it? Haven't heard anything and haven't seen any pictures.
Did people wear their ties? Any good ones? Inquiring minds want to know!

Great weekend, with good weather, little rain Sunday morning...

I didn't see any ties, got back late Saturday after long ride....but understand we did win the largest club award with 13... I believe....

Think I saw about 10 of the Alabama folks....

    Large attendance for the rally.

Sorry I didn't take any pictures this time....maybe someone else will chime in.

    Where was everybody?

I was there, but I haven't really met any of you except for the resident Louisiana guy who I met at the Dragon. But I was there anyway. It was a nice quiet little rally, lots of interesting bikes. I missed the rain entirely and enjoyed the barBQ and campfires. I came in a group of four, my BMW, two goldwings, and a Honda VTX, We discovered you should never try and eat breakfast near Pickwick dam, they just don't have it together there. We also discovered Buford Pussers home town a small ways away. I had to come back early though to attend my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I would have gotten shot if I missed that.

Terese, I was just there for the day so I didn't get counted but just to let you know the campground was full but the Alabama crowd was scarce to say the least. Saturday was a glorious day to ride so Bob Steber and I didn't hang around the campground but rode down to Waterloo for lunch and did some great Alabama backroads.

Paul & I rode up for Saturday also. We wondered where everyone was . It was a pitiful turnout, to say the least. However, the weather was great. The vendors were very scarce too . I think the sorry state of the economy is showing up everywhere these days. Gail
