      Vance,
Can you repost as an album instead of a slideshow? The slideshow takes FOREVER on slow computers like this one. And as an album folks can download it without having to get you to send them copies.

GREAT PICS so far everyone. I hope others will post theirs like Phillip and whomever else went.
I have just updated the link to provide a gallery instead of a slideshow. That should be better!

J.J. you did miss a good one pal. I hope this has taught you a lesson!

I found some very interesting roads to and from the rally. Mostly slab to Holland, MI except for US 27 through TN & KY (good road).
From Holland we took the circle Lake Michigan route up through Mackinaw City to the rally. Michigan route 22 and 119 are some of the best roads I have ridden. Great views of the lake, good twisty and sweepers. The tunnel of trees is like a forest path. Miles without seeing the sky.
Of course, Chicago and Giordano's pizza can not be missed.

              MOA trip pics

Great pics Martin, looks like you travelled through some fantastic places with great roads. I now wish that I had taken Vance up on his suggestion that we travel back home the way that you travelled up.

Vance, we did find the museum in the base of the bridge. It also had info on the fort that they have reconstructed.
I noticed that you all stop at Metropolis, IL (home of Superman). I don't know lf you went Hwy 45 into Paducah, KY but that bridge over the Ohio is grated. It was the first grated bridge I ever rode on. No way to know it is grated until you are on it unless you knew beforehand. It is about as high as the Mackinaw bridge.

We did not ride across that one this time. We stayed in Paducah on Sunday night coming back and came down through the Land Between the Lakes. Stayed on back roads all the way down through TN and got onto I-65 at Exit 1 on the AL line. Great ride down through there I tell you!
