    Pants on the Ground

    Hilarious.

    Monday a week ago I stopped at a rural BP station over in Mississippi and the deer-hunting good old boys were hanging out trying to make time with the cashiers.

    As I entered the door three of them were doing "pants on the ground" in unison. The girl at the cash register was working the night it aired and did not get to see it live. I about collapsed to the floor in hysterical laughter when I saw their rendition.

    I sure hope that guy can make a dollar off of his effort. He may not be the next AI but he sure deserves something for the comic relief and creativity.

        Man, I would have loved to see your Mississippi dear hunting friends doing their rendition of Pants on the Ground.

          There's a group out of Michigan claiming he stole their song. It was done a couple of years ago and was called back pockets on the ground. I kind of like the old guy's spirit.

              Hmm ... music is a weird line of work and the law surrounding it is equally as distorted. AI's legal department will clear up the copyright questions.

              That should prove an interesting wrinkle to the whole deal as the season trudges ... uh, marches on.
