I saw this thread on the MOA website and liked it. Here is a picture of me on my first real bike, a new 68 BSA Thunderbolt. Taken in Orlando January 68 when I was a flight instructor at the Cessna dealer in Orlando, Skyway Aviation. I thought I was the next generation "Wild One".

Great idea Jim.
My first bike was a Britt, Famous James in the early early 50's that I hid from my parents at a friend's house and had to sell it when it was discovered. No photos unfortunately. My next bike was a 1972 Moto Guzzi Ambassador that I bought after getting out of the Army and sold to purchase an auto for my traveling job with Arrow Shirts. I will try to find a photo. Next bike was an '85 Harley (first evo) Heritage Soft Tail. I have a photo and will post it after scanning.Last edited by R90srider; 02-12-2010, 12:23 PM.Bob Steber

I found on the internet a photo of the first bike I had as a 14 year old lad, an early 1950s Famous James Cadet. Also, here is a photo of my first "big" bike, a 1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador. Here also is a photo taken on Daytona Beach during the 1985 Bike Week of my first Harley Davidson; a 1985 Heritage Softail. I still have my first BMW which is Long Tall Sallie, a 1995 R100GSPDC.Originally posted by R90Srider View PostGreat idea Jim.

Who are these people on motorcycles? Haven't recognized anyone yet.
I do have one of me and my first bike but I don't know how to put it in a post. Can anyone give me instructions please? Remember to type slow cause us Cajuns don't read fast.

I need to learn how to place pictures on a post but untill then I have pasted a link to a picture on Picasa. This is a photo of me and my NSU Super Max 250 cc taken outside my barracks in Germany in 1965. It was a great bike. I rode it all over Germany and France. I also had a side-car with it. That rig would be worth a few bucks today. Wish I could find that skinny kid again

Gator
1. Click on the paper clip icon
2. click on browse and highlight the photo you want to use and click on it
3. click open
4 click upload
5. place your cursor where you want your photo placed within your post
6. Click the paper clip icon once more.
That will attach the photo to your post.
You haven't changed a bit from 1965 in Germany

I should have finished digging out the old pics before posting but I just found this one. This was in 1970 or 71 on my 185 cc Suzuki Street/Trail. I also had a Hodaka Super Rat after this but couldn't find any photos of it.

2008
Yep, all the way back to 2008. This was my very first time on the front seat of any bike, (minus on the back of my dad's bike as a kid) See what happens, when you wait till you are 40 years old to get on a bike for the first time.
(BRC on Bill Maxwell's bike, before I moved up to Ursala. Hopefully 20 years from now that picture will look old and I'll still be riding.
