Hey, I had a red one that looked just like that in 1957. (Bike, not helmet.)

That appears to be a twin cylinder 2 cycle Puch made in Austria. That was the first motorcycle I had. I worked part time for Sears and got a 10% discount. I got mine in late 67 or early 68 and once rode it all the way from Orlando to Tampa and back big trip.

I must have been photographically deprived in my youth. Here is the earliest photo I can find, my 1974 Suzuki GT550 in Princeton, WV.

You and your bike look great David. I didn't realize that the roads in WV were so narrow though

This is a good idea Jim.

I'll have to see if I can dig up a picture of me on my 1979 Yamaha GT 80 when I was about 13 years old. I know pictures exist, but where O where could they be???

                      Steve.

Come on folks, Jim had a great idea here. Let's dig out those old photos. Y'all have had a good laugh at a few of us, now it's our turn to laugh. Start digging. You are all lucky that I don't have a picture of the bike I had in high school-abicycle with a Briggs & Stratton engine and a belt drive with a string throttle

Vance, I had a problem with that too. I could not scan anything, don't know why. I had to uninstall the programs for my printer/scanner then reinstall jus as though I was hooking up a new printer(and to my surprise it worked). Man I'm gettin good at this 'puter stuff. If I can do it I know that you can.
