I wish I could post some my old bikes but unfortunately all my pictures were lost in 1981 in the great property division that befell me. I even owned a real live 195? Whizzer. Then upgraded to a 1948 model Harley Hummer 165. There were many more but alas the pictures are gone forever.

OK fellows...here it is. This is where it all started with me I really needed (and wanted too) to upgrade from the bicycle to a "motorized" mode of transportation. We lived in a hilly section of town that made the newspaper delivery a bit of a challenge. My father (who was not especially "motorcicle" friendly) told me I could have something motorized....if I could come up with it on my own. Soooo....I built it... Notice the added safety feature of the headlight and rearview mirror!

My brother Rob sent this picture to me in the last few weeks as he was going through an old box of pictures at mother's house. By the way that was his mustang...dad bought for him!

Great shot Vance, and the light and mirror look like they would stay attached while underway. Question is; did it get underway with you on it

Why certainly! This shot was taken during but one of the many "technical adjustment periods" required with that year model machine. You may be interested to know that machine went through several total rebuilds while I owned it. When I moved up to a Honda Trail 70 I sold this one to brother Lee and got him started on "motorized" transportation.....

Yeah...but I think we ride pretty well for "Old Guys"...maybe that's just me though

Some of us might be old but we're still cool. My walker has wheels and a 1200 cc Boxer engine on it so get out of my way youngsters
