Thank you, Joan, great Newsletter! It came in today's mail and provided diversion from watching the outside snow fall. I especially enjoyed the "Out of Africa" article by David Woodburn [pg. 10]. I remembered meeting him at The Great Chicken Rally last year. Hope this is only the first installment and I appreciate David sharing his most remarkable story and journey with his family. David will be the host at his April 9-11 Spring Tech Weekend in Ephesus, GA [pg. 6].

Just finished reading the Newsletter version on line..
There is a lot of good information packed into the letter. I prefer the online version for the color photos and can enlarge the print if needed. Can always refer back to online version instead of keeping the paper copy...
If there is an option to omit the paper mail-out...I would opt that for me.Don G Norwood

Joan busted her @$$ to get that newsletter out on time.
Please note that the Feb. meeting info page says Feb 27th. I made that typo and called her to change it to the 20th, but she forgot. Understandable in her rush. Plus a three hour frustration to get the labels to print. Good job Joan !!!
David Woodburn will definitely be sending installments to his and Emy's and their child, Mattea(10 at the time) trip across Africa. I've had the privilege of reading some of them ahead. He gave them to me at the Jan meeting to see if I thought they would be of any interest to the club. I was fascinated and called him a couple days later and said I thought they would definitely be of interest. Some of it is harrowing and scary, and it's just plain good reading. But to have done it, I don't think I could have. I look forward to him sending in his installments which Joan has siad she would be glad to put in.
