Forums in new browser or tab?

EVERYBODY:

We've recently set the forums to open in a new browser window, or assuming you have "tabbed browsing" enabled, in a new tab. We did this so you could stay in place in two or more places, if you know what I mean. We've had feedback in both directions, so this is a poll. Do you like it or not? It can change back, so let us know. You can post here, or message me, or email me at laclass@gulftel.com. Or you can mention it to Connie; you know we talk fairly regularly!

I just voted in the poll Jim. So far with my vote it is 100% for. As soon as I get more proficient at using this thing, I'll know the difference between the two. Thanks for the hard work Jim.

I like the Forums in a new window because my computer always signs me out everytime I leave them and go back to the home page or any other page. It's a real aggravation to have to sign back in every time just because I have two minutes and want to check for new posts.
This way I do not have to sign back in to the forums because that window stays put. It's a WHOLE LOT easier for me. So there's my two cents.

Just checked the poll on the new browser, quite a few views but only four votes.

I added another option, "Don't really care." Didn't think of that when I created the poll. That might explain the 30 views and 4 votes.

If I hold the "CTRL" key while clicking "Forums", it opens a new tab instead of a whole new page. That's some better. I just have to remember to hold the "CTRL" key.
