  • The tale of Steve

    Hey folks,

I have been pretty quiet lately and have been doing quite a bit of thinking these past few months. Most of you know that I really enjoyed my time in Afghanistan and really wanted to stay but this Army job got in the way. Well, I was presented an offer back in May on the way back from the Moab trip and I decided, along with counsel from Suz'anne and the girls, to take the opportunity and return to the State Department Air Wing.

I have resigned my position here as of 8 September and will be leaving for refresher training on the 29th of this month. I plan to be gone for a few years. We are hoping that our rotation schedule is changing to 60 days on and 30 days off. That would be nice.

So I will see you guys at Jim's for a bit and then I will be off again.

    Take care,

    Steve

Good luck and congrats on the job. Be careful and come back to us when you return. I would also like to add that the club would be happy to pass your bike around the membership to keep her up and running.
