    Great BMW repair in Jasper

Chris Hand and his wife Sharon run a great shop that repairs all brands of motorcycles in Jasper. He has worked on some of the members of the club's bikes and is an air-head owner and rider. He also builds and races drag bikes and has a dyno in his shop. Last year he had a display at Barber's Vintage Days. The shop is located just off the I 22 Corridor at the fouth Jasper exit coming from the East. His web site is

fortunately we have several independants in the area such as Jeff has mentioned above. Also remember Terry's Two Wheel in Pelham for tires and service. as for dealers many have used both BMW Motorcycles of Atlanta and Pandora's in Chattanooga...both great dealers and club supporters!

My guess -- poor customer service for several years and indifference to those who tried to buy parts and bikes finally did them in. They lasted longer than most would have predicted, once their customer service hit bottom. (IMO, that was about 3-4 years ago, when Steve & Neal left).

How many semi trucks does it take to move all the bikes at Bogart's? 4 apparently. I just passed by and saw it. I called them up and they said the closeout sale will be next week.

+1 for Terry's Two Wheels! I've always had great customer service there, and usually see a few club members hanging around!
