It's 3pm and 92 degrees in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Had to shut it down for tea time. The heat is still pretty bad but the A/C in the room is really working wonderfully; I think Malvene has it set on "January".

Should be an easy run to Osage Beach tomorrow of about 250 miles.

Glad to hear you are having a good time and enjoying January temps in August.

We had a good campout/meeting at the Bedgoods and fortunately didn't need A/C. Some time around 2am I had to cover up. It made for wonderful sleeping until the the rooster crowed about 6am.

I heard that ya'll are enjoying winter like weather up there. Wish that ya'll could send some of it down here. I think that the weather will change again in the morning when you step outside. I looked at the web-site for the CCR today, some nice campground where ya'll will be staying. I think the weather is really going to be nice in there. Have a good time. Hope to see ya'll net month.

Hey J.J. glad to know you guys are cooooool! We missed you guys at Bedgoods. Great ride yesterday under the direction of Captain Cornbread. Another great cheesburger at Pikeville Store and two runs on Crow mountain. You guys be safe..have good time and maybe we will see you next Saturday on the return!

Jamie, you going to have another great time at CCR I am sure, sorry I am having to miss this one.... week three of physical therapy is must needed. I need 110 degree bend to get my foot on the pegs, just far I am at 95 degress bend....

Even if the temps get real high there, there is plenty of room inside from pools to bowling alleys as well and there is plenty of food and entertainment planned.

Yes, Terry Ware and I (And Maybe Ron Riggins) are set to leave here on Thursday. I am trying to figure out when the final check in time is for the rally. I can't seem to get good information. Now I think it maybe Friday morning. If so, that will change our plans a bit. In any event, we will head back on Saturday morning. Route is yet to be determined and depends somewhat on what route we use coming up. I have to get the time information tomorrow.

Vance, As I understand it. There is a two hour window Friday morning... 8 AM to 10 AM, after 10 the penalty starts...


The Check IN, tally the points and document the needed pictures and stuff, then off to bed for many for a quick nap before the Friday night banquet.

There are many sites and forums going this week with a lot interesting stuff for sure, the daily report from IBA web page is good, plus the web cam at some of the bonus locations and the forums and of course the starr traxx....I getting a lot information on a forum open chat as well..plus some cell calls from couple of freinds are are tracking....

BMW has had it problems, couple of rear end failures, but other brands as well have had problems as well...
