Who's running for what?

Are the names of the club members who will be on the ballot for the 2011 election listed somewhere? With my limited computer skills, it is highly likely that I just don't know where to look . I just wanted to know who was running for what, so far. That way, if there is a scandal or rumor about them, we'll have time to really drag them thru the mud before Montevallo . Gail

Hi Gail,
I am still compiling that..not that it is difficult... just waiting to see if any other names come forward...Right now we have single names listed in VP, Membership, Tech and Photography...and I think that is all (I am not at the office where my list is right now)

So that leaves some key positions open...Pres, Secretary, Newsletter, Travel and Safety...at this point anyway.....

Newsletter Distribution

I'm sure it will come up again at the January meeting, but Susan and I will be glad to continue with the distribution of the printed copy of the Alabeemer newsletter. That will leave our new editor, whomever that may be, with only needing to edit the articles, do the layout, and send the newsletter (PDF format) to the printer. Susan and I will pickup the newsletter from the printer -- as we have for the last several issues -- address it, and take it to the post office.

Here is the Election Ballot as it stands today. I urge anyone that wants to enter their name for any one of these positions, please let me know. We are supposed to have an "election" for these positions which means we can have more than one person on the ballot for each position. Please consider what you can do to personally support your club by holding one of these positions! Complete descriptions for each of these elected positions are available here on the site.
