FormerBeemerBoy is no longer posting on the Alabeemer Message Board. I adopted the screen name "FormerBeemerBoy" when I registered for this board immediately after selling my F650 (back in 2007). At the time, I really didn't think I'd be rejoining the ranks of BMW owners, but stayed active on the board because -- for some reason -- I enjoy ya'll!
Well, back in April of 2010, I wanted a new bike to replace my aging Triumph Trophy 1200, and, after looking over the bikes that I felt would be good replacements, I opted for a new 2010 F 800 ST, and "FormerBeemerBoy" no longer fit for a good screen name.
With Steve's help, "FormerBeemerBoy" has become "BamaBiker". Look for posts under that screen name. Same person, different name, one that fits as I also spend a lot of time on those "pushbikes", too.

fits you. Enjoyed the ride to Stockton with you. Did you run with those other BMW's that passed as I got off for gas? Jim is right, this gang kind of gets in your blood.
