  • Pandoara's European Motorsports

I bought my 09 R1200R from Pandora's in Chattanooga Tn last August. In my 45 years of owning dozens of bikes this is the first bike I've decided to let a dealership take care of. I've taken the bike back to Pandora's for an initial service, and I've just returned from a weekend in Chattanooga where I dropped the R off for a 6,000 mile service.

If there's a better group of nice and competent people, a dealership, I've never met them. Cheatams Honda in Huntsville Al decades ago treated me good, but Pandora's is exceptional. I live roughly 120 miles from Pandora's so I needed to rely on a firm schedule. I had no problem getting a schedule to meet my needs and Pandora's stuck to the schedule, no problem.

Before buying a BWM I feared all the horror stories of bad BMW dealerships. I guess if these stories were even close to true then Pandora's is breaking the mold.

I spoke to Justin and John as well as others of the staff. It sounds like their business is doing well in this miserable economy, and that's great news because good people are hard to find. I hope as many of us as possible can help support Pandora's.

    Just sayin'......

Oh and...I got to test ride a new F800GS. A serious hoot !!!

      I second the Pandora's kudos

I scheduled my annual service and a brake line recall repair and new tire installation [2007 R1200RT] at Pandora's several weeks in advance. Last week I rode from Dahlonega (where I am living now) up there (140 miles each way) and they finished the job in time for me to return home before 8:30 p.m. that evening. An excellent experience and everyone (!) was exceptionally attentive to me throughout the day. I took magazines and a book to occupy my mind and struck up conversations with other riders there to kick tires and to get service. John and Justin were very generous with offering to let me test ride a host of other bikes. Nice to have that offer if I ever want to consider trading up to a later model. Btw, "Pepper" is a cutie and John smiled when she would sit in my lap.... Oh, yea, Pepper is a miniature Schnauzer and enjoys life as the dealership rescue dog mascot.

Yup, seems like nice people. I stopped in there a couple weeks ago, and although I needed nothing, they treated me well and made me feel welcome.

The owners strike me as real enthusiasts, hopefully the new dealership in B'ham will follow their lead.

Wish you folks had been around in 1971 when we had a Dealer in Annisiton since, 1952, Gadsden, Bobs BMW, Huntsville, Alabama Motorcycle Sales ( Russ and Marty ) Bham, cant remember the name ,address, Corner Oporto and Madrid and Mobile also a Moto Guzi Dealer. Those my Friends were the days. Four Dealers !!!!!!!!!

In my Humble Opinion, lets give whoever this new Dealer is in Bham,
Red Mountain Motor Sport, Terry Two Whelers, who ever,a chance.

Another thing, as far as a Discount, like we all would like, eeer %10 or so.

I worked for a failed Dealership, Dixie Sport Plus in Vinemont , Al. Guess
what to you Supply Side Econnomics, we survived ( no failed) on a FOUR PERCENT RETURN ON OUR ( Carlos and his wives) INVESTRMENT.

My, opinion, support Terry, Joan, Red Mountain MotorSports, who ever,
they are in Birmingham and dont ask for a 10 % Discount as you will surley
deduct 4% out of their profits and we will have another failed Dealer.

Terry and Joan are our present day Russ and Marty, lets support them
and not anyone out of state, no matter how Great they are.

              WHAT !!!!

Well....they both (Terry and Pandoa's) have already received my business. I never thought about asking for a discount....LOL. I'm greatly pleased by both and I'll continue to enjoy going in both directions. I also give plenty of business to Cycles Unlimited and Allsports in Decatur Al, Cycle Nation in Huntsville Al, Wheelers Perfomrance in Robbinsville N.C., and Alcoa Good Times Kawasaki in Louisville Tn. Among a few others !

I've been eye-balling a new BMW jacket and pants; was thinking of taking that business to the new dealership in Birmingham.

Is this a great country or what !
