Got Married

Some of you met Al at the Christmas party so I thought I would give you an update. We had planned to get married on April 1st (I thought April Fool's Day would be easy to remember) but decided to move it up when we went to Wyoming over the holidays to visit the grandchildren.

So we got married on January 1 by his son who is a Methodist minister there in Cheyenne, Wyoming - his first wedding. And it was really special. Just a small family wedding. I have a wedding photo on my facebook page if you want to check it out.

We are going on the BMW cruise also - sort of as a honeymoon. But you know how it is when you are first married - every day is a honeymoon.

We also went snowmobiling when we were in Wyoming. Now that was a ton of fun. Can't wait to do that again.

We are looking to get Al another bike - a "real" one. Something that can take the curves like mine. Let me know if you hear of anything.

I'm hoping we will be able to come to a few events this year. I sure miss seeing many of you!

A good first BMW is a GS. I believe Gary Nesmith has a low mileage 1100 or 1150 GS that he is selling for a friend. It is well priced. Give Gary a call if Al is interested

Been away from the forum for a while, so congrats to both you and Al. Look forward to meeting Al and seeing you again at some of the meetings.
