I have to say that I am not thrilled with the new look here. Things were much easier to look at before. Just my .02 cents of course.

Steve, there a couple of other forums that I visit and they have gone to this look. Go down to the very bottom left of this page and you can change the color. The green is not so hot but the sandstone is a maybe. By the way, are you still in Alabama?Martin Benson

I am back n Afghanistan until June. My IPAD still displays the previous look so that is good.
Thanks for all the hard work Steve. You probably don't hear the praise as much as the complaining. We will just have to get used to what the software geeks have developed. Mean that in a very respectful manner of course.

I've got to say that I'm with Steve H. and Martin. What was wrong with the style we had?? I FINALLY learned how to post a frickin pic to the forum, now I can't. Screw It. Not everyone ( I am speaking for MYSELF only) is a computer whiz. I absolutely hate this crap, and have no patience with sitting for hours staring at a screen. Steve, I am not bashing you at all, and I really appreciate all your hard work with our web site, etc., but unless it is absolutely a must, why change anything? I think I'll just go ride. Kindest regards..... GailGail

Actually it's fairly simple. If you want to create a new post, just click on "Post New Thread" and start typing. When you are finished typing, click on "Submit New Thread".
If you want to reply to an existing thread, just click on "Reply to Thread" and start typing. When you are finished typing, click on "Submit Reply" or "Post Quick Reply".
The old version was not that much different except you clicked on the "New Thread" button instead of the "Post New Thread" button. For reply you click "Post Reply" instead of "Reply to Thread". It can't get much easier.
Posting a pic is even simpler in the new version than it was in the old version. Just click on the "Insert Image" icon and follow the instructions. In the previous version you were forced to source your photo from an external source or you had to upload a photo to the server and then attach it to your post. In this version you are given a choice and it is no longer a two-step process. You may notice that the photos are now displayed full size instead of the small thumbnails.
In answer to your question "What was wrong with the style we had??". There was not anything "wrong" with the old style other than soon it will no longer be supported by the software company. We were still running a version from 2008. That version was full of security holes and other problems that the end user would never see (if I was doing my job).
If you are having problems posting, feel free to give me a call and I'll walk you through it.Steve Schuckman
