Melanie's 84 year old dad participated a couple years ago in the Honor flight out of Sioux Falls, SD. On the return flight, which arrived around midnight over Veterans day was a great experience. Their flight was greated in the airport by a large group of people, including family and friends, and also the governor of SD. All had American flags waiving while greeting the beta. Dad said it was one of the best experiences of his life.
