Going to Rally

I'm leaving on Monday, arriving on Tuesday and staying thru Saturday. I have a room very close by so if anyone can't stand the heat and wants to throw a sleeping back on my floor, give me a shout.

Wanda and I will be leaving Sunday or Monday, don't know which yet. We have a motel about a block or so from the rally site. We plan on arriving sometime early on Wednesday(plan on riding slow). See y'all in between volunteer shifts. We will be on the main gate duty on Friday. See y'all there.

We will be rollin' in late Tuesday or early Wednesday from Colorado. We rode our favorite loop today from here in Durango up to Silverton and Ouray to Telluride for lunch and then back down to Cortez and back to Durango. It was 55 degrees in the high passes. Hope we can bring some of this beautiful cool weather back to Missouri with us. We have seen a great number of BMWs on the road today. I suppose a lot of them are heading for the Top of the Rockies rally but some of them that we talked to are just out here having a good time. I hope the MOA can find a place in CO for a rally but maybe they would find out that there is not a place big enough here to double the attendance.

You are exactly right Jim. Several places in Colorado have been evaluated but so far we have not found one that fits the criteria for a party the size of the MOA! You guys be safe and we look forward to seeing you there! Lee and I are heading out in the morning....!!

Jo Ann and I will be heading out for Sedalia Tuesday morning and plan on getting to the rally site Thursday morning. We're staying at a motel in Knob Noster, about 20 miles from the rally site. See y'all there.

Gail, the only reason that I'm not too sceered is that I have a lot more shootn' trophys than Wanda does. We're leaving early tomorrow morning for Sedalia but just to be on the safe side I'm going to do a "pat down" on Wanda before we leave. Don't want her ridin' benind me with some heat in her fanny pack. Jim, we're going to leave early in the AM but not going all the way tomorrow. See y'all in Sedalia.

After 9 years Overseas, I will be hopefully showing up at the Rally. If I can escape the Rainy weather in Fairhope. Does the club have a special place in mind for camping?
