In Arkansas without his bike! Yesterday I heard a lot about how much more fun he would be having if he was on his GS. Guess we will travel in 2 vehicles until next summer. There is a touring bike in his future.

What is the boy doing off in Arkansas? Tell us more about the touring bike.

We had this weekend planned for a long time. Just a mini vacation. Celebrating mid-way between his birthday and our anniversary.

We need something I can get on a little easier than the GS. My knees just don't allow me to mount the GS more than a couple of times a day. On a trip, this can cause problems. So, I told him we can get another touring bike next summer. If he waits until then, he can keep his GS. Not sure yet what we will get. I know I can get on an LT, GTL, or Gold Wing without problems. Since it will be a second bike for occasional usage, I think he should look for a used one. So, it may be an LT.

I know just how he feels about not being on the bike. Jo Ann and I took a trip to Arkansas a few years back in the van. I would lean in the curves just like on the bike, but it ain't the same!!

Oh, he leans! And, he forgets to turn the steering wheel.
