I lost a good pair of Olympia mesh overpants - they did the job in protecting me. I was able to convince them not to cut off my BMW riding boots. Once I told them how to unzip them they agreed that was a much better option.

EMTs are scissor-happy. Why cut the boot off the uninjured leg? Especially when they removed the boot from the broken leg without cutting it!

As they cut my pants off I was in and out of consciousness but I remember one of the ER nurses singing "Too sexy for my shorts, too sexy for my shorts". They really have a sick sense of humor in the ER.

Trust me, most nurses have a pretty sick sense of humor. think I'm qualified to say that. I found this clip hilarious on so many subjects.
