The things Mike will do....

This morning, he braked hard and the brake caliper flew off the bike. It took out a couple of spokes. He managed to stay on the bike and keep it up.

I didn't know anything until he came home this afternoon. After he told me the story, I asked how he got home. He pointed outside.

His solution was to buy a silver GTL.

Why don't I ever know when he's buying a bike?

That's his story when I got to the shop. He did look a little shook up tho. Now I'm jealous, especially since my bike has been out of commission since the 17th. Starter is fried. Ordered a used one and it arrived at the shop Saturday. Hope to have the bike back Wednesday. Either that or I'll pull a Mike and get a GTL.
