Courtyard25?

I talked with David Fontenot today and he said that when he arrived at Courtyard25, where he had reservations, he was told that Courtyard25 was officially closed as of Sunday, October 6. He told them that he had just ridden up from Louisiana and had reservations. He was told that they were sorry but someone should have called him.

Anybody know what is going on?

Same story I am hearing from folks out of Mississippi that had reservations as well...

I heard that they were being sued -- not sure what for. Bad timing for those who had reservations. Not sure what those who are left holding the bag are going to do. Barber's camping area is sold out. Not sure if Oak Mountain is sold out. A bad situation!

yes... understand also Oak Mt was sold out as of last weekend. Couple folks switched from camping to motels for the weekend..... another couple also called to confirm their reservations at Courtyard 25....when they couldn't get an answer, someone made a visit on their behalf to Courtyard 25 to confirm that they would be open.. and as stated ...they where told Courtyard 25 is closed as of the mentioned date. They did not receive a call from Courtyard 25 either.

Sure bad timely for such a great gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts to the area.
