Christmas Shopping

I am trying to get an early start on shopping for Malvene for Christmas. I need your help! I am trying to locate a refill for a Chia Head with no luck. I gave her the thing a couple of years ago and she forgot to water it and you know the rest.

Also, I am trying to locate a Clap-on / Clap-off in reasonable shape. I know this seems like a lot but the old gal is pretty good to me and I want her to be happy. Your advice/suggestions will be appreciated.

Go to Ebay and type in Chia pet seeds. They have a whole bunch of them

Jim, thanks for the tip. I went to ebay and they have a lot of Chia Pet Seeds. Will they work with a Chia Head? I don't want the thing to wind up with "poodle hair" or something. The only Chia Head stuff they have is an Obama Happy Face Chia kit; I don't think so!

You can always soak a tater in bucket of water for several days, makes a pretty plant..the gift that keeps on giving.

I have found a guy that has a Chia Head farm where he raises the hair just to collect and market the seeds. I plead my case to him and he said he had some last year's crop that he would just give me. Wow! And now Bob is going to furnish me with a clap-on/clap-off, at what I am sure will be a reasonable price, it looks like my Christmas shopping is a done deal. Life is good! I know Malvene will be pleased when she opens her gifts on Christmas morning.

I have saved enough that I now can look into that face shield cleaner that Gator mentioned. Let me know if y'all think all that will be too much? I sure don't want to make any of you guys look bad on Christmas morning.

ps Please don't discuss this with Malvene and spoil the surprise.

If you get by with giving a Chia Head and a Clap-on- Clap-off to Malvene for Christmas, you da man. So, to continue with your extravagant Merry Christmas theme, the Clap-on-Clap-Off is an early Christmas present that you can re-gift to Malvene .

Last year I gave her a new shovel from ACE hardware, but she showed little interest in it until lately;for some reason she now has dug a really deep hole in the back yard. Very strange...
