This morning.... 23 slides in Graham county....6 in Swain county.
The good news, most of them... the road is still there...
The bad news, a few will take a very long time to repair.... and still have springs rains to come.
441 will get top priority... federal road connecting, most visited National Park....then Gatlinburg and Cherokee tourism.. political, tourism, Dolly Parton and Harrah's will get it done.
Skyway is scenic road...but will be federal money...maybe.....
I could get real political here....but I will conform to forum rules.
