    All you wine lovers will appreciate this method of opening a bottle of wine. Of course Jamie, it isn't necessary with a screw top.

      Hey Jim.

      That looks like a good idea. I noticed that his strokes were gentle. I'm wondering if one or two hardy blows would have shot the cork out along with a flood of wine.

      I'll try it on one of my bottles of fine wine, Charles Shaw 2009. Charles Shaw is more commonly known as Two Buck Chuck :-).

          Jamie, too bad we didn't know about this Friday night when you and Don broke the corkscrew on the Moscato.
          But I bet that would never work with that wine and it's mushroom shaped cork.

            You're right, Barbara. But I would like to see the machine that puts that cork in the bottle. It must be a giant hydraulic press of some kind.
