Gator, I can nearly smell'em cooking! How about frog legs; any luck? See you Friday.
Jamie, sorry but no frog legs this year. The frog season closed at the end of March for two months and up untill then I had not heard a single frog in the pond. This week they're croakin' all over the place.
Hope everyone made it home safely. Tommy and I ran through several showers through Mississippi and heavy rain from Birmingham on. After I split off from Tommy in Birmingham I found that if you run 85 in heavy rain you will get wet everywhere even with good rain gear. The only thing dry when I got home was my socks. Good BMW boots.
The Thornes made it home safe also. How could a club meeting be any better?? We really enjoyed ourselves, and I now have another food to add to my list of likes. Thank you to all who made this a great weekend. I think I've gained 20 lbs. since I left home Friday. Could have been the two bowls of ice cream .
J. Dubick I am convinced that the people who test m/c rain gear must just use a lawn sprinkler and ride thru it one time. You are right about BMW gear. It is the ONLY gear I've found that is 100% waterproof. Gail

I think Gail duped us. She claimed that she had never eaten crawfish and had several of us peeling them for her; guess what, she had one of the biggest piles of heads at the table. What a con artist!

She does seem to have caught on to eatin' dem crawdads rather quickly She may have been practicing elsewhere.
