Hi Everyone New GS in Chelsea

I couldnt take it any longer and had to have another BMW. SInce selling my 04 GT I have not been happy with the last two bikes I have owned so my wife told me to go buy another BMW for Christmas. I am sure she wants something just havnt figured out what it is. Well I went to buy and 06 in Atlanta and came home with a shinny new Red 07 GS. I am a truely happy man. I just wish this smile would go away I have had on my face for the last week and a half. I am looking froward to meeting everyone in the near future

Joe,

Congrats on the Christmas present . You get that fine lady whatever she wants, it don't matter as long as you got a GS. A good place to meet a lot of the folks will be at the January meeting at the Montevallo Safety Center.

Hang around us and we will help you get some character marks on that new bike. WE intend to increase the number of group GS rides over the next year.
Also will discover there are several pilots in the group. We won't hold it against you for wussing out and flying fixed wing, will we Jamie, Steve, and Jim .

Congratulations Joe. I'm sure what ever your wife has in mind will be worth it.

Our next Club get together will be at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Center in Montevallo on Jan. 26-27. This is the planning meeting for all of our Club get togethers, and election of officers and directors for 2008. We will have pizza and soft drinks brought in Saturday night for diner (bring your own adult beverages). Attendance is always good, so you will meet a lot of Alabeemers and we look forward to meeting you also. Your good wife is welcome too. We are fortunate to have some mighty fine ladies as members.

You won't be the only aviator there. We have two other corporate pilots in our Club.

Thanks for the welcome. I wasnt ever able to attend any meetings when I was a meber in 05. I am going to make an effort this year to get out more and ride more. I do have an 11 year old son and he keeps me busy.
