Terry and Joan in Maggie Valley

Well Terry and Joan are going to be at the Road Runner Magazine rally in Maggie Valley. They will be vendors there. http://www.roadrunner.travel/events/touring-weekend/ I told Terry that Suz and I might like to come up there for that one and enjoy the mountain air. I checked the website and the cost was $260.00 per person which included a T shirt and about six meals. They listed a number of hotels so I assume that camping was not an option. I told Terry "Dang, that sounds really expensive for a rally, is that all you get?" He replied " I think you get a hat also". They also have guided tours for $450.00 per person. Attendance was expected to be about 500. Sounds like the club rally should be held in NC. I think Phillip Johnson would lead a ride for a measly $100.00 or so.

Jim, when Terry told me the cost I also asked him what was included. Needless to say, I was astonished and It's difficult for me to believe that the attendance at the rally is so good. I didn't know about the $450.00 guided tours.

Hey Bob, The pre registration page is gone now but when I clicked on the schedule of events it gave the prices. If you look at the pictures from past events it looks like a real social gathering. Very few BMW bikes in the pictures.
