In the August newsletter I erroneously reported that only two articles has been submitted to the editor for inclusion in the newsletter this year; It seems that I overlooked the very enjoyable write-up that Martha and Phillip Warren submitted describing their ride to Big Bend. My offer my apology to Martha and Phillip for this oversight.

While I think the newsletter is read and enjoyed by many in the club...there is not a way to reply to stories and to leave a comment easily....
Personally I read ever newsletter... I have even submitted stories. I find it easier to place my pictures and links and ride story on the forum. Recently on the trip to Alaska by our club members...we where able to enjoy and interact with them during the story process. The Spot was an added feature to follow them along and it gave us the sense of being a part of the trip and wondering and worrying about bike issues and would they be eaten by a bear.
Before this forum...we enjoyed the printed version and then moved forward to the electronic version...of which I approve.
Everyone that can read the electronic newsletter does have the ability to read this forum. A lot of ride type stories appear with pictures of our trips and adventures....reader can comment as well and therefore interact with the adventure.
As to club business, financial reports and other club matters for only the eyes of membership...we do have the E-mail blast as a way to report club business if necessary. Club meetings and especially the January meeting would be a good time to have printed business reports available.
I know that many volunteer jobs with any club go without the proper thank you...and our newsletter in the past has required a lot of work and time by several. Thank you! to all.
