I'm sure most of the old timers are already aware of this, but I thought I would post this for the newcomers. When you have already viewed several posts in a thread in previous sessions, you usually want to go to the first unread post to start reading when you return to the forum. The fastest method to accomplish this is to click on the down arrow (chevron) just to the left of the thread name. See the image below.

The arrow will be visible only if an unread post is available in the thread. Feel free to ask if you have questions.

Ditto Steve. I didn't know that either. Thanks!

While you are at it, reach over and give yourself a pat on the back. Our new website is excellent.

Ouch - I tried that back patting thing but I think I pulled a muscle.

I agree our website is excellent. I want to thank JT (James Taylor) for designing and implementing the site. I'm just maintaining and enhancing what JT created.

I agree James deserves BIG kudos for getting this site up. No question at all !!

I also agree that Steve is equally deserving for the changes he's made and for keeping it up/running/updated/etc.

I think one of the greatest ideas ever was Steve making it where photo albums could be added and accessed so EASILY !!

Any other great ideas out there?
Hard to beat that one in my opinion.

Connie is right on. With the exception of my profiles , I really enjoy seeing the photos of fellow Alabeemers in action. Also, thanks to James for getting us going in the right direction.
