Power is out and it's black but quiet now... we had estimated 60mph winds and rain for about 30 minutes just now....I type this by the light of "coal oil" lamps, and all appears to be ok now.
I have an appointment in Birmingham at 10am to tell the SFE that the bike now has heated seats...maybe then it will recognize that fact. If these bikes are so darn smart, then why doesn't it know that already?!

Glad all is ok with no damage. We have a couple hundred pine cones from the neighbors trees all over my back yard but nothing serious. Looks like tomorrow morning will be a good first test for the seat heat.
