BMWMOA mileage contest

This coming Sat. (April 12th) is the beginning date for the 2008 mileage contest. I encourage everyone to note their mileage and get their entry form filled out and mailed. Last year we had 29 participants - 25 listed under Alabama, 3 listed under Mississippi and 1 listed under Tennessee. Phillip Warren was the top rider in TN, but we all know he is an Alabeemer and would have been second in Alabama. Hope we can get 40 participants this year.

Gary, I participated in the mileage contest. I showed the BMWMOAL as my club but they still listed me under Louisiana in the ON. So that makes 30 participants for the club. Also they changed my name to Robert Baigle. Maybe this year I'll just list my name as Gator

I looked under Louisiana and Robert Baigle just didn't translate to Bob Daigle. Now I'm not even sure whose wife I danced with at the Dogwood Rally. But she was a cutie nevertheless .

Gator, one year at Huntsville I had a guy to ask me on Saturday morning "When does the rally start?" The sad part is that he was serious. I don't know what he was expecting.

Jamie, I guess he thought that all of that hanging around with friends and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, engaging in pleasant coversation about our bikes and trips we've taken, attending seminars, and browsing around at the vendors booths was delaying the start of the "real" fun. Maybe he came to the wrong rally.
