  • Clutch cable for Kawasaki

    Hey guys,
My roommates' son in law needs a clutch cable for a 2002 Kawasaki ZX12 R .
It's his only form of transportation and it broke today and all the bike shops have to order them and can't get it till next week. I said I'd put it out there just in case someone can help or knows someone who can help with an old one (or new).

    thanks

If it's just the wire part of the clutch cable, any cable that the bike shop has that is long enough with the right ferrule on the end should work. I think. Any excess can be cut off.
If they don't have one, I bet Cahaba Cycles bike shop would have cables that might work. They come in different thicknesses (diameters) for brakes and shifters. The brake ones are thicker.

        Thanks
I told Scott, so I guess he and the son in law can go check that out today.
I told him I was very doubtful that my spares for my Beemers would be any where close to fitting. I gave him one to try but now they have at least another option to check out.
