  • Newsletter Correction

Please note that the newsletter that you will/did receive on March 11, 2009 is the March newsletter. The heading indicates that it is the February issue. I wish I could blame the error on someone else, but alas!

Don't lose any sleep over the error Jamie. I believe what probably occurred is know as a cerebral spasm. Although it has never happened to me personally, I've heard that from time to time it does manifest itself in some "old" people. Just kidding, ditto on what everyone else said, you do a fantastic job with the newsletter.

Jamie if you hadn't said anything nobody would have noticed especially us with "cerebral spasms". And Gator, I never knew you were a neurologist, I'm impressed with your broad knowledge.

Along that line...I am impressed with the literary expertise in our group. I want to congratulate not only the editor for a fine job again this month of assembling and displaying the information but to the contributors.
Give a hand to both Eric Bahl and Noah Johnson for their interesting recounts of a couple really cool rides that have been done already this year. I think its gonna be a another great riding year! Thanks to all the contributors.
And for the brain spasms...I can't remember......

                    Jamie,
glad you clarified that. I been tearing through the garbage can looking for my Feb. calendar page. I thought maybe I was living in the fast lane at Elkmont and had moved a whole month ahead. So much for resetting my youth, I don't get to do that month over either now.

Actually I just figured Jamie was keeping up Alabama Club Odd ball tradition. We do tend to do things like ....have July meetings, in August, in another state besides Alabama, and other messed up stuff like that. Ain't that why all us folks like this so much anyway? We have a history of doing these things on purpose simply to attract the most fun folks. (and/or to cover for our cerebral spasms and have good excuses handy)
