sorry to hear about the problems with the bike (especially since I'm considering a used rt right now). But I'm very glad to hear that Uncle BMW covered the costs. That takes a lot of the sting out of the problem.
What year is your RT?

Ron my bike is a 2006 RT that I purchased new. It is a great machine and I have been very pleased with it and the service I've gotten. I hope that you can make a deal on one for yourself. I don't think you'll be sorry.
