Thanks for the excellent photos Jim.
The National was a lot of fun and the roads in the area are fantastic for riding a motorcycle. Vance, Mari and Connie along with the Rally Chairs and volunteers did a phenominal job to pull it off. I rank the Johnson City (Dog Patch) rally along with Redmond and Reinbeck equally for the best of the best rallys that I have attended.Bob Steber

Enjoyed the photos Jim & Martin. We enjoyed seeing y'all again at the rally. We had a great time and arrived home Monday afternoon with out any problems. We did have a good chance to try out our new Sargent seats on the way home. A lot better than stock ones. It was 54 degrees when we left Fort Payne monday morning-nice. The rally was fantastic. Thanks to Vance & Connie, the other rally chairs, and all of the volunteers for making this a great rally. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Wish we could have broken the attendence record, but we did come mighty close. Here are some of the pics of our trip and the rally.

Bob, I had read on the MOA Forum that Wheels Through Time would be open on July 11 & 12. We passed through Maggie Valley on the 13th and went by there on the chance that it would be open. Two of the guys riding with us were from Texas and had never been there. We pulled up in front at around 9 A.M. and as luck would have it Dale was there and opened the door and motioned us to come on in. It seems that a friend of his had called and was in the area and was to arrive at around 9:30 for a private tour. Since he was there anyway he said we might as well come on in and take the tour. He told me that he is not closing the museum but will only be open 7-9 days a month. I am assuming that this will be on weekends. I would call ahead to be sure before visiting. We spoke for some time while the rest of our group toured the exhibits. I told him how his dad Mr. Bernie had given Wanda and I pretty much a personal tour a couple of years ago and how much we enjoyed that. They are really nice people

That is great news. Wheels through time is my favorite Motorcycle museum in the country and I look forward to going there again.

I don't know if he has sold any of the collection since I didn't go into the exhibit are. Dale did tell me that he had just bought a vintage sidecar rig that is supposed to be one of the last of it's kind. He found an engine and has been racing it.
