Diplomat Deli -- Thursday night non-meetings

Has the club quit congregating @ the Diplo Deli? Mike (our great waiter) at the Deli told me last night the attendance has dropped to zero for a couple of weeks now, and he's wondering if the Birmingham Alabeemers have found a new place. I was the only member at the Diplo Deli last night (7/30).

Mike asked me to let the club know that the Diplo Deli was hosting another (free) beer tasting next Thursday (8/6), and that there would even be some of the new "high gravity" beers available for sampling. The store next door to the Diplo Deli is now open, too, and they're also having an "Open House" next Thursday. Mike said there is even some acoustical guitar music planned. Should be a great time.

Thanks Jack. I guess we have just gotten lazy on Thursday nights...unless the group has changed places and didn't tell me! Since the rally is behind me now, maybe we will get back into the swing...see you soon!
