  • R1150 GS Factory service manual wanted

I picked up an 03 R1150GS Adventure. I was hoping someone in the club had an electronic copy of the BMW shop manual.

I hope you enjoy the GSA Erik. I know you have been wanting it for quite some time. So everyone will see Erik now on my former GSA.

Steve, what are you going to or have you replaced the GS with?

        Hey Jim,

I just have the /6. The GS was just too big for the type riding that I want to do more of. Although it was fully capable of the terrain we rode in Moab, I was not. I would be much more confident on a smaller bike. The GS has loads of power and that it what got me through the rough stuff.

I tried "the one bike fits all" model but realized that it does not. So I will find a smaller and much lighter enduro and probably go back to an RT or GT. Not sure yet.

I rode Jim Kalahan's x challenge and really like it. I need to ride an F800 and an F650GS.

        That's all for now.
