  • Winter Glove info

I am shopping for a good waterproof winter motorcycle glove. Something that has a gauntlet that extends down over the end of my sleeve. Any recommendations?

lots of good choices out there in all price ranges. My best winter gloves are by Held and I have had them at least 5-6 years and I plan to use them this winter as well. Now here is the part that is gonna hurt Eric....I paid over $200 for them that far back. A good pair is prolly about $250 now....but how warm do you want your hands to be?? lol... As I said, there may be others just as good for less money...I'll be watching this thread too!

GERBINGS. They claim to be waterproof, but I don't believe it. I have never worn mine in the rain, but I have in sleet, snow and they did fine. However, a driving rain for hours is another story. Get you some heated gloves, and your hands will never be cold again! Gail

        Erik,

The BMW Winter Glove is the best glove I have for cold weather riding and comfort. They are water proof. I also have Gerbings heated gloves that I haven't used in a while because they are too bulky to suit me. The gloves are size 12 (xxl) but they are a bit tight. If you want them for $50.00 plus mailing cost, let me know. You can try them on for fit and comfort and send them if they don't if you don't like them.

Erik, I forgot to mention glove liners. They are very helpful to keep your hands toasty warm. Here is an Amazon link showing a good selection.

I second that on the BMW Winter Gloves. Bought a pair last year and they are well worth the price.

Thanks for all of the replies. I ended up buying the BMW Winter glove 2. These look really nice, the fit is good and the gauntlet seals up with a pull. Plus ratings I found on the interweb were positive. Now I just have to wait for some cold weather to prove them out.
