2012 R1200GS Adventure for sale

After 40 years of riding 2 wheels and the most recent 3 years of vacillating about continued riding, I've come to the unpleasant decision to hang up my helmet. Too many body parts increasingly complain, telling me it's time.
And so, my 2012 BMW R1200GS Adventure is for sale. Triple black with aluminum BMW side cases, BMW tank bag, Sargent seat, loaded with extras with only 18,600 miles.
Priced at $16,800, and I'd love to see a club member keep it in the club.

Thanks for the sympathetic words Bob. It's a difficult thing to voluntarily quit doing something you love, but I've always hoped to have the wisdom to quit before I was forced to (like an accident or being too stubborn to admit I should quit).

Wow John! I hate to see this. Maybe your trip was too long, and you just spent too much time in the saddle. It is definitely something you have to build up to. Please reconsider before you give it up for good. Maybe a smaller, lighter bike? None of my business, but that has never stopped me before! . Gail
