1993 R100 R, Serial Number: Will Verify, approximately 9k miles, $7,000 or best offer.
This bike has the most confused and little known history of any of my bikes. I do not know the complete history of this bike. This is Walter Villa’s Battle of the Legends R100R from 1993, the last year of the airheads to be imported into the USA. It is, of course, signed by Walter on the tank. This bike has been extensively modified. Engine modifications are not entirely known but are believed to include a 336 cam and perhaps a 1050 kit. The bike is seriously fast, certainly the fastest airhead I have ever ridden. Modifications that I am sure of include the following: Custom stainless steel exhaust with 38 mm header pipes, 40 millimeter Mikuni carbs, totally refurbished transmission with the input shaft modified for use of a bearing retaining circlip (call me about this), dual plug ignition, rest of world (non USA market) handlebar switches (headlight control), Works Performance shock, totally rebuilt front forks with cartridge emulators, K1 handlebars, K1 final drive, rear disk brake, wide rear tire (3 inch rim), Sargent seat, BMW bags and so forth. Please call me to discuss this bike in greater detail. I will be totally candid about its condition. This may be the most fun bike you will ever have an opportunity to own.
