Is there someone who out there who has used Dyna-Beads to balance their bike tires? Are they worth trying? Do they work as advertised?
Please advise
I use Dyna Beads....I read several articles....several trucking companies use them on their fleet of trucks as well... I like the Dyna Bead demo with the drill and soda bottle....that will convince you...will try to find the link....
Was on the road and needed tire...some BMW dealers only uses Dyna Beads ...
Interesting on my last tire change I notice that the bead line was on the right side of the tire...near wall... so was the tire out of balance vertically and horizonally as well????? one thin line where the beads had traveled for 12,000 plus miles.... OR could have been the torx from the rear final drive???
HOWEVER.....If I am a great fan of RIDE ON tire sealant and believe it can save you.....therefore you can't use dyna beads and any type sealant at the same time and you can't use sealant and beads with any in tire pressure monitor system....
I can't tell any difference in tire wear or any extra miles with dyna beads.
I find them easy to use and install with few simple tricks....
You can put them in when the tire is broken down and getting ready to mount...but I find it as easy or not easier to put them in valve with small plastic tube and pre-measured ...I use a syringe and tap it with screw driver to create a vibration to move the beads.
2 to 3 ozs per tire....
NOW, if I where to take a cross country month long trip.... I would use the static balance weights and RIDE ON tire sealant....
So now you are as confused as I am as what to use!!!!

I've been using Dyna Beads in both of my bikes for the last few years, and I haven't felt the first vibration since I started using them. They do prevent the use of any type of puncture sealant, but you can't have everything can you?
A friend of mine liked them in his bike tires so much, he tried them in his car. That didn't work so well. Apparently, they perform much better in motorcycle tires than they do in automotive tires.
