  • One Piece Riding Suit

I am thinking about purchasing a one piece riding suit. I have read the reviews
on the Tourmaster and Olympia and talked with Martin about his Tourmaster suit. He seems to be quite pleased with it.
I am looking for some feedback on either of the suits or others (Aerostich).

    Thanks,
    Mac Stewart

    aerostich one piece

I have had the Aerostich one piece for about 2 months and maybe 1500 miles or so. I like it far more than I thought I would. When you first put it on, it is stiff and seems to fit awkwardly. As soon as you sit on the bike you realize why it is proportioned as it is. Mine has already become less stiff and I think it will continue to improve. It has been pleasantly warm so far but I am concerned that it may not be usable in our hottest months. I have a Darien jacket which is surprisingly usable into the 90 degree temps by opening the vent zippers. If you go for the Aerostich be sure and call for sizing recommendations - they do an excellent job by asking you a lot of questions.

    Mine is a 42 reg

      aerostich

      Hi Mac,
I've had an aerostich for about 17 years. It still works well and is the best peice of riding gear I've ever purchased. And I'm a gear junkie. Mine is the two-piece, but it's essentially the same garment. I love mine and would replace it if it ever wore out. Unfortunately I'll probably outgrow it before that happens. By the way, the ventilation system is so good that it's not really uncomfortable in hot weather as long as you're moving.
      Cheers!
