  • Blue Moon Cycle no longer selling new bikes.

    Reading this from another forum...FWIW..

    Quoted from another forum:

"Blue Moon Cycle no longer selling new bikes?
............. found out they are shipping out all their unsold new bikes. Not sure if they are still going to be servicing bikes. But the plan is to transition to a museum and focus on vintage bikes."

Another poster confirmed with this quote:
"Their new shop will be in Buford GA and according to their phone message, will be called BMW Buford. I live up there but I haven't found any information on where the new shop will be located. Opening first week in August so it should be either open or very close to open by now. Question is, where. I needed some parts so I had to go to Marietta where I found the parts guy from Blue Moon now working. Hope I can find it soon as driving from Buford to Marietta is a pain any time of the week."

yep...correct, John is going deeper into the vintage stuff which is his passion. No more new stuff from him. It will be interesting to see how this develops. Cycle Nation in McDonough is now selling and servicing BMW's. Although on the south side of town it is another dealer source in the ATL Metro.

Apparently there is a new Eurobike dealership opening in Buford, GA, to take the place of Blue Moon. Will be called "Hourglass Cycles" and will offer BMW-Triumph-MV Augusta-Ural. Website is up, but the shop doesn't seem to be open. According to their Facebook page, they had a soft opening this past weekend. Techs are in place for BMW & Ural, and they should be good to go on Triumph & MV Agusta this week. No bikes listed as being in inventory at this time, so not sure how ready they really are. Address is 6080 Lanier Islands Pkwy, telephone # is (678) 367-0092, and their website is www.hourglasscycles.com. Wishing them the best of luck!
