Leon Hebert of Hebert Cycles

Leon Hebert who originally started Hebert Cycles in 1981 passed away on Saturday afternoon. He had suffered a massive stroke on the 11th and had pretty much no chance of surviving. Leon was a very nice person and an avid motorcyclist untill the ravages of age slowed him down. We all looked forward to seeing him and his wife Earline at the shop on Saturdays. The funeral was to be held today but has been postponed because Earline, who was diagnosed with cancer several months ago, is not expected to live for more than another day or two. Their son Mike, who had taken over the business after Leon retired, also passed away from cancer in 2000. Prayers for the family will be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for letting us know. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the shop when there with you one time. They have sure been plagued with serious and untimely illness. They will be in our thoughts and prayers.

That is such a tragedy for one family to deal with. We will be praying for them and their surviving family and friends.

Leon Hebert's wife Earline passed away last night. There will be a double funeral service tomorrow in Baton Rouge. A viewing had already been scheduled for Leon for tonight so Wanda and I will be going. They were two such very nice people who were a joy to be with. They will be missed by all that knew them.
