I had a post on my FB page that Bob crashed his R90S at Barber. Can anyone verify this? Any other info?

I just talked with Bob on the telephone and he sounded like himself with his very positive can-do attitude and said he hopes to possibly go home tomorrow. It seems he has some broken ribs and a broken collarbone, but he says that they are managing the pain very well with the appropriate drugs. It was sure good to hear that he was in such good spirit.

I am sure that he will be glad to hear from you all.

I'm sorry to hear about the injuries. Broken ribs and a collarbone, that has to be QUITE painful. Thankfully this is one to walk away from. Jill and I wish you a speedy recovery Bob, and our thoughts are with you. Keep your spirits up!

Just talked to Kathy 5 minutes ago.
                  Bob is doing well.
Broke three or four ribs, they are sure of three. Of course broke the collar bone, punctured a lung (hence part of keeping him a few days to watch him).
He has a swollen arm on the side that hit the hardest.
                  Has good attitude adjustent meds...............

They are going to keep him at the hospital till tomorrow (Monday) for sure and maybe even one more day. Kathy said they want to keep checking on his heart too.

He and Kathy both say thanks for everybody checking on them and the help they've gotten in getting the bike retrieved, and everything else too.

Adding my thoughts and good wishes for a speed recovery. Hope the nurses treat you well, and you're soon back on your feet, then back on a bike. Let me know if you need any help in any way.

I went by to see him this afternoon, and yes he said the food was really good there. Good going Jimmy Lowe for getting the bike over to Terry's shop. Terry and Joan were there when I got there and had pictures of the bike. Of course Bob with his ever positive outlook remarked that it needed to be repainted anyhow because the stripes were not correct for the R90S. Bob said the doctor was very surprised that he was in an accident on a bike and didn't have any road rash. That was just a reminder to me to wear ATGATT. His injuries are very painful so please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
