Thank God for wonderful friends and thank friends for all their love and support. I go from day to day and mostly take my friends for granted then something like this happens and I ,all of sudden, see just how many wonderful friends God has blessed me with.
In the last 2 weeks since my accident I have recived so many cards, emails, phone calls and offers of assisentence from club members and each of them mean so much to me.
I thought I might make it to Little River the end of the month but riding in the car is so uncomfortable I don't think I will. I hope each of you have a wonderful time, ride safe. I am looking forward to the day I can be with you again.

Hang in there Don. We too are looking forward to having you guys back with us. We will miss you at Little River but we know it takes time to heal and it is usually best not to rush it. Take care and again you guys be sure to yell when any of us can assist!

      Hey Don,

Your event at Blue Springs was the first club meeting I went to (well not including the chicen rally in 02). I attended in 03 just prior to my 100CC run. The fire pits were and are classics. Any way, I am glad that you are on your way to recovery. I told Barbara in an e-mail that I am just a few miles away down here in Enterprise, so please do not hesitate to call. If you just want another BMW guy around to chat with that would be great. I am on the early morning shift for the next week or so, and then I shift to the night schedule. My afternoons are available.

Give me a heads up and I will be there.

Thanks for all you give to the club,

      Steve

        Hi Don.

Great to hear you are up and around. You are wise not to over do it and to give your bones more time to heal is a good plan. At least you will have more time to plan your retirement trip. If you don't have a GPS navigation system, I highly recommend that you get one. It is much easier to do route planning on your computer that it is using just a map and calculator.

Our next get together after Little River Forest is the Christmas Party at Vizzini Winery and Joan Ware has put together a fantastic evening with a great dinner and tour of the winery for us. I look forward to seeing you and Barbara there.

Any thing I can do for you guys, please let me know.
