  • Jim McCorstin Injured At Barber

Many of you know Jim McCorstin from here in Pelham. Jim has been a club member for the last several years and is an avid rider. Unfortunately during a track day session at Barber this past weekend, Jim was involved in a crash in the museum turn. He was transferred to UAB from Shelby for further treatment and possible surgery on his elbow. He has a broken collar bone in addition. Please keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers.

Jim was scheduled to be released from UAB today. Apparently shoulder surgery was not required. Good news! Get well soon Jim. bob he fell in the museum turn but I do not knoow the details of the crash itself. Apparently it was a low side but I don't know the cause.

Thanks for the update Vance. Low siding is better that a high side lift off over the handle bars.

l'm glad to know that surgery wasn't necesssary and that he is out of the hospital.
