Lee Wagoner life flighted to hospital.

Here is a post I received from Polly Wright moments ago. I pray he will recover quickly.

Hi Bob:

Yes, Lee was Life flighted to Vanderbilt on Sunday. He was first thought to have Spinal Meningitis, but they are not sure about it. They tried to do an MRI and a CT Scan, but he was fighting so much that they had to restrain him. I haven't heard anything today, so I'm hoping they were able to do something to find out what is causing this. He had been in Gulf Shores and there was a thought that it may have been caused by some sea food he had eaten. I just wish they could find out what the problem is. He knew Tom Sherrill when Tom went in to see him, but not some others.

I'll be sure to let you know if I can find out any more. I'm going to call Tom in a little while and see if he has found out any more today.

We are still trying to figure out what to do about the Ribfest. I'm pretty sure we will go ahead with it, so count on it until you hear for sure.

Ok, Bob: I just heard from Gin, his daughter, and she said she thinks they are going ahead with Ribfest and our club is going to donate the proceeds to Lee, because he has no insurance.

Oh man...I hate to hear this..it sounds really serious. I have seen in the news about several people dying recently from that terrible bacteria along the coast. I certainly hope this is not related...Prayers for him!

I am saddened to hear this news about Lee. My thoughts go out to him and hum family for a quick recovery.

the update this morning from Polly is that they are going to run another MRI today as they are still not totally sure what is causing the problem for him. I understand that he does recognize Tom Sherrill who is staying close and will answer short yes/no questions by nodding his head. But this is still a very serious situation and the Dr.'s are searching for the right answers. Please keep Lee in your prayers. Bob and I will post here as we get updates.

Phillip and I are at Parkers Crossroads where Rams Shiloh Rally moved to and friends of Lee's are here including Tom Sherrill and their report is Lee has West Niles Virus. His condition has not improved but we are praying for speedy recovery now that they know what he has.

Thanks Connie! I guess you been talkin to your mom too...I was just getting ready to post this great news from her too. So glad to hear he has shown improvement. We are pullin for you Lee!
